NSP Portfolio II qucik jump to article

Hello,
I would like to use this module and the cool style.
I want to use this module in the "sidebar" and I have a request for assistance:

1. Landscape view - works well.
    Currently module displays miminiatury category as thumbnails.
    A module is a 1x6 vertical layout on the Sidebar.
 
2. Vertical view - it works badly.
     Turning the screen displays positions Sidebar below BODY.
     Thumbnails great fit for the vertical view. Thumbnails scroll through several screen lengths.
    
Problem 1:
    Clicking on a thumbnail opens with a brief description and a link to the article.
     The background of this window is as long as the whole unit, ie that it covers all the thumbnails vertically it looks bad.

Problem 2. I want to give up, turn off for this module displays a dialog intermediate description. I want to again click on the thumbnail grid module and immediately view the article. Without indirect windows.
