Hi,
see the attached image.
in the photo template, I use news show pro 5 and the portfolio grid module Mode.

All thumbnails appear dark (news show is the bottom gallery, compared to another gallery (yootheme) on top), which produces crisp images and not dark.

I tried all the suggestions for the blurry images, and the only thing thats working is to disable the thumbnail generation, but than I get thumbnails that are not the same size (so I would have to resize them manually).

But they still appear dark anyway.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure why images looks dark, I have compared thumbnail generated by NSP and original image that can be seen after clicking shumbnail link - and they look same:
http://into-focus.de/modules/mod_news_p ... sp-106.jpg
http://into-focus.de/media/k2/items/cac ... 1ce_XL.jpg

And if it goes to "blurry" images, perhaps you are having problem with browser cache which keeps images that was generated before you have modified NSP settings? You can set multiple things in NSP itself, in Thumbnails tab (quality, size etc). Perhaps there is something there that you have missed?

I figured the same thing with the thumbnails, if I look at the nsp generated thumbnails via ftp, they look perfect (no blur and not dark). So it must be some display error for the module (?).

It can't be a browser caching issue, since I had this problem for 10 days (when I first installed the module. And in those 10 days I was in Spain, England and now back in Germany. And from all 3 devices (Desktop home, Tablet and Laptop) during those 10 days, the dark and blurry images persisted.

I cleared the browser cache more than ones, and also put in "0" for cache time in the module.

And even deleted the thumbnails created by nsp via ftp. Doesn't matter what size I put in for the K2 article image (s,m,l, xl) the thumbnails generated are always about 93KB.
I not only changed to XL in the module, but also in the over all category options in K2 articles.

Like I said, if I use a different module mode, the thumbs look fine :-(
