Links are always active

Hello,

I have installed the steakhouse quickstart template for Joomla! 3 and try to configure the NSP GK5 module "Events & Blog__Stay up to date with us__".

I switched off the image links, but there are still links on the image and on the text. "Open links in new window" and "Image Popup on" do not have any effect too.

If you need admin login details, please let me know, but you should be able to reproduce this on any other installation. I can reproduce it on my local XAMMP and on a live server installation.

Hi

It's hard to answer that without a loot into Your site. What NSP module style have You used. Module settings are for Normal Mode mostly. Any other module style is a predefined and some of the features (if not all) are locked.

I have the same problem with the steakhouse quickstart template for Joomla! 3 using Module mode "Grid News"

I use SmartSlider 2 instead. Maybe Revolution Slider will do the job too.

Hi, I have a similar problem, I have removed image links but there still are the title links. How can we remove them? Can you point me to the php file to remove it from there?

Everything depends from which module style You are using. Please tell me the url to Your site where I will be able to see an example of the module You wish to remove the links.

I have added some custom code that if the url is less than 2 characters the hyperlink is not active but my solution is not nice I think. Also how can I make the image a hyperlink as well?

Hi

Again. If You wish to make image a hyperlink than You need to tell me which image. Some may be added as content, so You have to do it in editor. Other may be using module, so it may require changes to code or some changes to settings.

About links opening in new window. It can be done easily if You will tell me which links should do it exactly, so I'll adjust my script.
