Remove/ Hide 'by' and <author>

Hi,
On our website http://www.nieuwbouwwonen.com/site/index.php/nieuws the author of the news is being shown.

How can I remove that or turn it off? F.y.i. I tried override.css, view.php and item.php solutions.
Hope to hear a nice and easy solution!

How can I get 'MORE' to show in a different language, I tried a lot of things.

All modules have its own language files,
it means also this one should have one.
If you know what I mean...
or
use Joomla Language Override Component to override only this phrase.
