Though the documentation shows a moduletitle link field, my NewsShowPro GK5 has no parameter to match this.

Using version 1.9.2, template is University, J3.4.3

Probably on documentation page is old version of screenshot, here is a new one.

Which means that has gone long time ago, and no possibility at all. None.
And I don't think that it will be recover in near future.
