Thumbnail quality news show pro with metro grid bad

Hi,

I have a question... I use the metro grid in combination with news show pro gk5. The metro grid has a max widht of 6 blocks. I have some pictures I used a width of 3 blocks and the height of 1 block. I made sure the dimensions of the pictures are the same as the dimension of the grid. They are high resolution pictures. I have a responsive module.

The quality of the thumbnail (even when dimensions are just as big as actual size, or even bigger) is really poor. I put it on a 100%. But when the parameters are on standard it makes a thumbnail in cache that is only 300 x 74. When I put on create thumbnails and fill in the dimensions the dimension of the thumbnail gets bigger but the picture quality is still poor (same dimension of the picture but shown with very large pixels). The size of the image is still the same though.When I click on the thumbnail it opens and the high resolution picture is normal. So the way the thumbnail is made is the problem. But is this because of the parameters or is something going wrong?

Hope you can help me out with this, because I have been playing with the parameters but wasn't able to correct it yet.

Hello,

If you are using K2 component, please make sure that in the K2 Additional Settings tab you have set as an original image the XL size.
