Yesterday I updated some Joomla components through the normal process. This is also included an update to this module. Eversince my site show <span> in the titles. I can't show this cause I just installed another (older) Mod News Show Pro, but I think more people will have this issue so I am posting this to make everyone aware.

Please do it if possible - because I cannot reproduce your issue.

Let us pick a time / moment to do this, cause it's on a life site. I can update quickly, show the error and than setup an older NSP module.

First of all please send me a PM message with FTP and back-end access to your website - then I will fix your issue directly so there will be no need to setup older NSP module.

Hi,

I have the same problem, when updated the NSP GK5 Module. It looks like the NSP GK5 Module isn't allowed to use html code or something like that. I also have the problem that &hellip; is shown, instead of "...".

Could you please help me? I'm working on a new website and it's not in production yet: (http://ajn.exception.nl/vvngnv2015).

@jorgennieboer, @Rvdz - this is a patch: https://github.com/GavickPro/News-Show- ... cc2604a5be

so @Rvdz - there is no need to send me the PM message - please just apply the mentioned patch.

Great - I've also published the v.1.9.0.1 release, because it seems that this bug could affect a lot of users of the module.

Ok today I've updated the module to recreate the problem, but since the update was allready in place on the update site the issue didn't occure again. I am satisfied, but is there anything else I can do? Otherwise case closed and thanks!
