Is there any way to add a search to the frontpage view?

We need a search for categories or tags.
Now we have a list of all the selected articles in the backend configuration - and we want to add also a search / filter for the frontpage. Has anyone done this - or any idea?

I'm afraid I do not understand what are You trying to achieve. Can You please try to show me an example or explain it a little better ?

I need a filter or menu for filtering articles from selected categories in frontend - see attached file.

Hi

I'm afraid we do not have an extension capable of doing that ? You will need to look for one in joomla extensions site: http://extensions.joomla.org/
