Hi,
The Video List - Portal Mode in NSP5 is broken after J!3.4.0 update.

Here what it looks like - http://www.gorast.com/eusnov/mk/profil/media

Any quick fix?

Thanks,
Gorast

Seems like thumbnail images cannot be retrieved. I'll ask our dev team about it and will write back as soon as I'll get the answer.

Please try to reserve module settings. You could also try:
Code: Select all
0) Install new current version of NSP GK5 (re-install)
1) Open module in edit mode
2) Click Refresh button in your browser
3) Change data source to another from list
4) Change order of showing items
5) Save changes - check on front page
6) If okey, change data source back to option which you have at the beginning

Hi,
nope. Still bad. When I changed the source it generated images but from the images and not from the video. ... the thumbnails are created automatically from the video as I remember, right?

Thanks,
Gorast

No, they can be created only from images attached to articles itself.

That was the thingie... :D
Thanks!

btw, wound have been nice to drag the thumbs from the video automatically, after all, they are fixed links:

http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEOID/1.jpg - Small auto-generated thumbnail 1 [120x90]
http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEOID/2.jpg - Small auto-generated thumbnail 2 [120x90]
http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEOID/3.jpg - Small auto-generated thumbnail 3 [120x90]

and

http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEOID/mqdefault.jpg - Small custom thumbnail [320x180]
http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEOID/0.jpg - Medium custom thumbnail at 4:3 ratio [480x360]
http://img.youtube.com/vi/VIDEOID/maxresdefault.jpg - Large custom thumbnail [1280x720 or 1920x1080] (only available if video has 720p or 1080p option)

This could be a nice boost to the Video List view fot NSP5.

Thanks,
Gorast

I'll post the idea, but it is a little more complicated - not always image dragged by yt is best available - sometimes deciding manually on the image content is much better.

I agree but an option is always the best so let the man decide :D

It was marked as an improvement. Perhaps in one of next releases... But I don't promise anything ;).
