NSP GK5 showing todays date not the Publish date

NSP GK5 is showing the date I'm adding the post, not the Publish date that I'm setting. We are trying to back date old articles on a new site.

The only setting in the widget is DATE, how do we get this to use Publish date instead of Modified date?

Please tell me the source You are using to display with NSP. Is it K2 item or regular joomla article ?
