NSP GK5 not showing K2 Articles without "Image"

Hi!!
I am using the StoreBox template and since I updated my version of NSP GK5 to V1.7.1 my K2 news disappeared from the "Front page"

After spending hours trying to figure out the problem, I just noticed that I didn't set an image on the tab "image" when creating my latest e K2 item. Therefore, the new version of NSP will not display the item at all. The previous version will just use the first image found in the article.

There are some article that due to the format of the image I can not set an "image".

2. Now that I think about it, is there a way for my to set the "image" just for the NSP display but not have this image displayed when the article is shown in full? This will solve also the problem displaying the NSP picture right when its format is not landscape.

Someone please help. My client is not happy showing the old stuff and there is not way I can add an "image" to the new K2 Article due to the format.

You can use a K2 image in articles. Show it in NSP and disable it in K2 item settings in category configuration.

BTW: I've reported a similar problem yesterday to programmers, so if it's related this my be fixed soon.

Does this mean that i have to update every single item?
Because till now I put all the pictures in the item and didn't use the k2-image?

I do not know. All depends what do You want to do with it. If You will not use NSP style which requires image than there will be no need for that.
