How do i display different categories on one line?

How do i display different categories on one line?
Lets say i have 4 categories (BLOG / IN THE PRESS / FUNDRAISERS / WELLS)
i want them to show up in one line (4 columns) on the page like this: http://prntscr.com/5c2sda

There should be a "Filter by category" feature in here: http://prntscr.com/5c2t5l so that it shows the latest post from each category.

Right now i found a work around, by using the "Modules Anywhere" component. Wish you would update mod_news_pro_gk5_J!3 to display as explained above.

If there is a way and i am missing it, please tell me.

We usually create 4 instances of the module with different data source to create such behave.
