I am trying to set up the module with HikaShop MultiVendor edition but categories and products aren't populating.

Is there a special option I need to enable?

Hi,
what is mean "populating" in this context?
Our module support typical HikaShop versions not content from Premium-Commercial.
So I suggest to use another module.
