News Show Pro with Hikashop: Error: No articles to display

Hello.

I am using the Simplicity Theme. I updated the News Show Pro to the latest version and selected Hikashop category as data source. I followed the instruction in your documentation but I got the message - Error: No articles to display.
The interesting thing is that it worked on my localhost without any problem.
I have gone through the forum and tried all the approaches mention but has was not successful.

I was going to export the json file. I clicked save and a new json file with date replaced the original.json. I thought I made a mistake so I deleted it and it revert back to original.json.
Suprisinlgy, the error message has disappeared. I am not sure what happened but maybe you can explain it to me and to others who may face this issue in the future.

So it seems that you had corrupted settings in the module.
