Styling from "John" to "Simplicity"

I'm trying to have a Portfolio II module mode on Simplicity to look exactly like on John template.
I've loaded the config from one to another, doesn't work. I've searched through the forum and it seems like News Show Pro GK5 has it's own css.
I'm out of ideas for now . Please point me to the right direction

Every template has some custom styles applied over default styles of module.
You can manually port those styles but it isn't easy task.
