Context: Joomla 2.5. Theme: gk_writer NSP5 ver 1.6.4

After installing the version 1.6.4 the following message appears:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC in /home/d686891/public_html/modules/mod_news_pro_gk5/tmpl/view.php on line 22"

Any ideas?

1) what version of PHP you have?
2) please read: https://www.gavick.com/forums/steak-hou ... 38737.html
3) If PHP 5.2, poor boy, please use old version module only.
