Hello,

I accidentally installed the mod_news_pro_gk5_J!25.zip on a joomla 3.3.3 site, got error messages, deleted the moudule.

Now, when I try and install mod_news_pro_gk5_J!3.zip or mod_news_pro_gk4_J!3.zip it tells me installation was successful, but the module doesn't show up in the list of modules. I also tried installing , and received an error on the front end of the website.

Help would be very appreciated, this module is very important to our approved design.

Hello,

Please check if in the #__extensions table there is a NSP record - if yes, please remove it.

Hello,

So, I assume you're talking about in the db. I see a jos_extensions table, but no nsp record in there. I don't see anything that says NSP.

I see that the module has a db table.

Sorry, I think I may not be understanding what you mean.

Please advise.

Thanks!
Danny

Please check the jos_modules table too, but it is strange, that in the jos_extensions table there is no NSP records.

Hello,

I've included links below to PDFs of both the jos_extensions and jos_modules tables as seen in our db, in case I'm missing something. I don't see anything that says NSP.

Your help is appreciated, thanks.

Hello,

Sorry for my late reply, but I was very busy with a release of our new template.

Regarding your issue - the NSP GK5 module exists in your jos_extensions table as "mod_news_pro_gk5" with extensions_id = 738

Thank you for your assistance. I actually have gk4 installed. I was able to access the module, but even though it shows on the page http://porttownsend.org/, and the code is there, nothing actually displays.

The module is in the middle column under FEATURED ARTICLES.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

If you want to use the GK4 version, you will have to remove the CSS code from gk.stuff.css file which is connected with NSP GK5.
