Product is not in cart

Hello,
I am working with Joomla 2.5.20 Virtuemart 2.2022a and NSP GK5 version 1.4.1
When a customer orders a product with the add to cart button of the NSP GK5 button the product will beshown in the cart. (upload 1)
When I order out the product detail page the cart stays empty. (see upload 2 and 3)
This seems to happen More in Chrome tan in Firefox. Not everytime with the same product. And looks like that you need to order a second time and than the order shows up in the cart.
In IE 11 the button reacts in a different way. When you click the 'bestellen" button than nothing happens. When you click this button a second time the product appears in the cart.
But do you know what the problem could be?
The hosting party did change the php version to 5.4.31.

To be honest it works ok for me in FF, Chrome and Safari, but there is an error visible in console which may be a cause of it:

webshop/cache/widgetkit/widgetkit-86a34013.js

Code: Select all

TypeError: e.matchMedia(...) is null

Try to disable this widgetkit and check if this makes a difference.

I uninstalled the widgetkit.
In IE 11 the problem is now the same as in FF and Chrome.
No product in cart! after ordering from product detailpage.
I saw warnings now about the template and mootools and about Virtuemart and assets and mootools.
Do you see them too? Do you know how to solve them?
Some are because of css things. I think these are not the problem in this case. But maybe the mootool warnings yes.

Yes I can see the mootols related error in console still:

TypeError: k is null

Anyway I do not see which element is using mootols. Looks like all of them are jQuery based, so You may disable mootols here entirely.

BTW: I also see couple of different jQuery versions loaded this may be a problem as well. Try using easy jQuery plugin to replace this libraries with one.

Before uploading the plugin I thought it would be nice if all the components, modules and joomla was up to date.
By updating your mod_news_pro_gk5 I lost again the prices. I asked you before in 2013 and I know you solved the problem but I cannot find in my old post what you did.
Please will you tell me again. (I did this in a test version of the site Not in the life site)

I updated joomla to version 2.5.24 and virtuemart to version 2.6.8 and some other components. The mootools warnings are gone
in FF. The problem with ordering the products not.I installed the plugin jquery_easy. And disabled the 'moortools where possible'. The ordering problem is not solved. Now the function of the NSP Gk5 is gone: the orange ball and add to cart button do not appeare anymore. So I enabled this again. Still lots of warnings.

After updating the joomla system
1. the footer anaouncement of your template changed again. I cannot find where to change this. In the template settings still my name is in there. But not in the frontend.
2. The main menu disappeared. only in the Home page I use the menu configuration in your template settings.

After installing the jquery_easy and disabled the mootools where possible. the image show GK5 sliders does not work anymore.
3 The errors were solved but the Warnings are about a lot of the tempalate css, ajax google api javascripts, system-mootools-uncompressed.js, and rsfirewall,system-mootools-morejs, system-mootools-core.js

After this I disabled RSfirewall and the problem is over
After updating this RSFirewall Still the problem with ordering is solved!!!!

Still there are many warnings about tempalate css, google api ajac javascripts, system-mootools-uncompressed.js, and ,system-mootools-morejs, system-mootools-core.js


But these warnings do not stop the system working.
What do you advice? Do I better solve all the warning ? But how? Do I have to use the jquery_easy plugin?
For configuration the jquery plugin I need your help. I read the documentation but I understand too little . Or do I have to go to the makers of this plugin?


Now this was a day of searching. And solving problems.

I got the acces and I'm clicking throught the website, but I see no issues mentioned ;/

Image Show is workign just fine. Console is clear of messages. I need You to point me to each of this problems. Best way is tell me the url to page and guide so I'll see them finally.

When you go to the website in FireFox you see in the right top a yellow triangle (see attachfile warnings.png)
If you click on the triangle you see the warnings I mentioned.

In the website I want you to tell me why the main menu is gone on the homepage only?
I did not updated the NSP Gk5 because after that the prices are gone. You may update this module but I have to read your post to make this again. After that I want to save this file in the html folder of the template so I did not have to change this next update.
And please look at the jquery_easy plugin. And what do I have to configure. I do not understand what I am doing there.
I hope this will make my questions clear for you?

I'm afraid I do not have this icons in browser This has to be some additional plugin and my console where errors are shown is empty.

You can use the NSP version You have. No need to update it if it works fine.

For easyJquery You just need to enable it and plugin will replace all jQuery libraries loaded by different extentions with one jQuery library.

Why is the main menu after I updated Joomla not shown on the home page anymore? Where do I have to change this?

Hi

For footer. Please download newest version of template and replace /layout/blocks/footer.php file. There were a small bug there which I've reported for fix some time ago. Hopefully it's included in the package already.

For the menu there must be a small glitch, but I could fix it easily by renaming the type of this menu to "mainmenu".
