Change date format

how can I change:
- the date format
- add extra information
in the NSPgk5 popup on the frontpage from John's Template

I'm afraid You cannot add any extra informations without recodding the module's code, unfortunatelly we do not support that.

Module is using a data from K2 settings, so the format You have sellected in K2 will work.

I already noticed that the template override for this module is very limited.
The files in /modules/mod_news_pro_gk5/portal_modes have to many variable an can not be override
The override of the template is so less we did already hacked some files.

For example take a look for the override her http://www.camping-wintersport.nl some more options in virtuemart.
Please make the template override more flexible.

The normal mode for this module can be overwritten following the regular joomla override option by using /html folder. But as You have noticed special styles, which are predesigned are hidden inside the module. This styles will not be updated or changed and in some ocasions works only with a template or component it was designed for.
