Display article text in Portfolio II setup + style question?

Hello,

I am wondering why the module does not display the text content of the Joomla article. I have the settings "Text enabled' to yes and show 30 chars but the result is attached; no text is displayed. I also would like to have only the columns (next to the image): "Title / Category / Text" and leave out author and date. But i cannot find any setting for that. Do i need to edit the template file for this?

I also have a little style issue, as you can see in the lay-out the cross and pagination arrows are cut off. I am following the John basic template setup. I have no extra CSS loaded.

I also have questions to extend the information block in NSP 5 article layout.
We can add info format 1+2. Any possibility to enhance this with text or other informations from articles?

@wisma please be more specific. You can already present a text from article with NSP module. What does 1+2 info format means ?

info format i can place strings %Author %Date ...
can it also show text from content or otherwise how can i activate comments

Sorry, coming back to my original post I have sent you an email with login credentials some days ago.
I already changed CSS with an override setting the height of the X and <> icons to 40px. Now they allign nicely.

But i am still curious how to leave out author / date in the popup and display some content (text) of the Joomla article.

I've found the older mail in spam and shared the access with one of the programmers I've asked for help, but unfortunately I have a bad news. Adding text there will result in a lot of fixes for mobile and popup layouts. The number of changes programmers has pointed out makes this request an extended customisation and we do not support that. Sorry, I've tried to add and see, but it was like I was told
