just updated to the new gk5, along with joomla 3.3
the news show module does not link to any end articles, just to the category of the supplied article... plus when it takes you to article category blog page it wont go to article if you click on article heading....

website: www.guidetogay.com

issue of article resolves if i turn off SEF friendly in the global config - but i need sef to be on for other features to work.

can you advise of a fix? am on the news2 template if that helps

cheers

Hello,

If the problem appears also in the category page with joomla links, then the most probably problem is connected with your htaccess file or mod_rewrite configuration. News Show Pro GK5 uses native helpers for generating URLs so it should work properly.

i have another site on the same server, using all the same, just a different gavick template (shop and buy) all other configs are the same and it does not have this problem.

i had a look at the htaccess file and cant see anything there that would assist (but i am not overly knowledgable on that front)

it just happened when i updated the news2 template and the gk5 - so any advice would be really appreciated...

The problem is definitely connected with your SEF settings or htaccess, because the links are working without SEF rewriting, so the module generates the correct links.
