Title links reloads homepage and not article

Hi,
I have the News Show Pro GK5 on the simplicity template showing on the homepage of my site. When I click the title link, the page doesn't go to the article in question, but reloads the homepage over again. The URL changes and shows the article url, but I'm still on the homepage. But if I add a new menu and link the single article, only then will the article show correctly. Im sure I'm doing something wrong as this can't be the way to use the module. Can someone shed light on what I'm doing wrong?
