Can't set rows on "Title Overlay"

Hi, I want to show a list of articles using the "Title Overlay" style, but i can't get it to show more than one row. It is set to show 3 rows in the article layout settings menu. Anyone know how to do this?

Perhaps data source you have set only has 1 article that fits into settings?

I tried changing it to show all joomla articles but it still only showed 1. Is there anything else that limits it?
