My ambition is to create the News show widget as the demo version of the News theme. But I don´t get the settings to make the future image to the left and the size to become 170x100 on the startpage.
Any tutorial, and help is greatfull.

In general to achieve the image on the left side, you have to:
1) set the image in the article layout on the first position
2) set the image position to left
3) configure the image margins to achieve the right margin in order to avoid no spaces between images and the text
