New articles not shown in News Show Pro GK5

I have been working on a Photography site for a while. Now recently I noticed that new articles that are supposed to be shown in the module are not shown, an older article is being shown. The issue is shown at a testdomain for this site: http://sk-lab.nl/nieuws.
The main content is taken from the GK5 module, while the sidebar shows a latest news module (Joomla core module). The sidebar shows a new article on top that is not being picked up by GK5.
There is no caching active, and even if I create a new GK5 module using the same settings, it does not find the new article.

Next day the item is shown, but apparently this takes quite a while.... I need to show the item immediately after posting the related article. Is there some caching parameter in the GK5 module?

Please try to play with a "Time offset" values as it's descriptions says

Use this option only when you have a problem with time zone between your location and your hosting location (i.e. when new articles are showing with delay)

this was done to fix this exact issue.
