Getting the error message with News Show Pro

Hi, I am using the template gk_simplicity I intale whole package together and I can finally use the module News Show Pro GK5 , but to configure only lets me place Data Source "All K2 articles" and "all joomla! articles"

and working properly

but if I put the other options articles or categories does not work and I get the following error


1064Oops, you've encountered an Error
It Appears the page you were looking for does not exist. Sorry about that.

I need to fix it, thanks

Make sure category you are selecting your data source from do have articles or k2 items available. Each data source has their own relevant fields which will be visible when you select it and needs to be filled.

If its still don't work send me an admin access details to my email normanuk[at]live.co.uk and I ll take a look.

sorry, do not understand what I have to do, the items that you are included, but not items that I have created, the items that I have created have a category

See below example. Source of articles are "K2 Categories" and underneath that K2 Categories are selected are highlighted in blue.



Each of those categories have items inside which module shows. If you don't select your categories ( see blue highlighted section ) then module will give error.

Please check your website and let me know if it works or not.

Yes this problem exist from the most recent version of GK4 and continues in GK5. If you select categories that do not contain any items or articles then it shows 1064 errors instead of giving simple message like 'no articles to show' like in previous versions of News Show Pros.

So for now its better to not to select categories that do not contain any items or articles.
