When there are no items/article in k2/joomla categories that is selected in news show pro GK5 module, the page error appears saying "1064 Oops, you've encountered an error " instead of "Error: no article to display" in that module position. :shock: .. Any FIX SOON? This same bug exist on most recent version of gk4 as well

This is how Joomla! 3.x handle with errors, simply there are mechanism to not run empty queries because it is only a waste time. This is why you see this message every time when you select empty data source for extension. What is the point for selecting empty categories to showing 'no articles to display' message ?

there is a solution about it? I can not say to my client using k2 and news show pro gk5 to keep always at list an item published.
please let me know any update about it.
