Hey

I just realized that the news show doesn't work correct on mobile phones. I tested with android and iOS.

My site:

http://www.wnsl.biz/columba3

Issue's:

1. I can't scroll the page "on the news", i have to scroll at the left/right side of the news and this is to close to the display border..

2. "read more" and the link to the article are not working.

Is there an option to optimize it? If not, can i disable the news show module on the mobile layout?

Thanks

Hi

Please show me where is this module with scroller so I'll check.

You can disable any module by using module class suffix like: " notablet", " nomobile".

Thanks for the help with the suffix!

The module is on the "home" page of the site right under the header. open the site on a phone (android/iphone) and you will notice that it's not possible to scroll the site.. it's a lil hard to describe just try it you will know what i mean.

Have you fixed the scrolling ability on the mobile site? I am having trouble scrolling through the news articles with my phone.

Hi

I know what's going on. GK5 is released for test purposes only it's still in a development phase.

I described this further on the following posting before I found this one:
https://www.gavick.com/forums/news-show ... 24246.html

But I'm not going to let you off with the "it's a dev product" comment. NSP GK5 distributed with the simplicity template with no warning otherwise. (BTW - NSP GK4 doesn't display correctly in that template.) We're gonna need something to address this in the near term.

To refine the statement of problem, it appears that list of Links don't scroll well. If you display just Article titles, that doesn't work well. It's not that the whole NSP is broken.

Hi

Och. Now I understand. I was thinking this thread was about a different issue. I'll write programmers about it.

The problem does not occur in NSP GK5 v 1.1! Thanks for the quick turnaround.

Hi, I managed to find this post as I was also having the same problem that was described above - i.e. you could not scroll the site on an iPad unless you were using the sides of the site (Read more was not working).

However NSP GK5 v 1.1 is only out for Joomla 2.5, does the Gavickpro team know when the Joomla 3 update for this module will be released? Currently it is still on version 1.0.2.

Brett

PS: The issue also happens with the Tabs GK5 module (version GK5 1.2).

Hi

Sorry no idea when update will be released. I can see a number of changes/additions on the schedule so it's hard to even guess.

Thanks for the update "teitbite". I will keep my eye open for the update when it arrives.

"dmeffe" you are still getting the problem because you are running Joomla 3.0.3 (as I am) and the developers have not released an update to NSPro GK5 v1.0.2 - the latter is the version for Joomla 3.

A Joomla 2.5 fix has already been released so I'm hoping that the Joomla 3 update will follow soon as well.
