Disable featured image in a post but not in Category

Hi
Whenever I disable a feature image in post, the image is not showing in the category pages.
How do I keep the images to show up in categories.
I read this solution in the forum https://www.gavick.com/forums/news2-wp/disable-featured-image-in-a-post-38671.html but the answer is not shared.

Regarding mentioned thread - solution is already there in my first answer with News2/layouts/content.post.featured.php file. That's all, if you'll have problem with that, you can send me a PM with ftp access to your website, then I'll try to help you with that.
