How do I translate READ MORE from NSP widget ?

I created a po file with the gk-nsp.pot file that can be found is the LANGUAGES folder of gk-nsp plugin
but what do I call it if I want to make a FRENCH language file ?



I tried gk-nsp.fr_FR.po
but that does not work


I need to translate the READ MORE

I've been looking for instructions on how to translate NSP Widget
and the little I found here is very unclear.

This is a capture of that info. Now tell me, do you understand anything in that mumbo jumbo ? I sure don't.

There is no mention of that file gk-nsp/languages/gk-nsp.pot in these instructions.

For most users this instruction is probably ok, because GK NSP translation is like every other WP plugin translation, so I dont's see the problem, use this filename: gk-nsp-fr_FR.mo and copy these files (po and mo) into your wp-content/languages/plugins directory.

Okay, you are saying that I'm stupid.

I did not fin that instruction in your documentation.

Sorry, you did not give clear instructions
to remove this file here and place it in
wp-content/languages/plugins
directory, so I mistakenly
left it where the pot file was, in gk-nsp
directory, which is a logical thing to do.
Please give CLEAR instructions.

No, I'm saying that this plugin can be translated like any other plugin, using *.pot file.
Your question is not connected directly with the News2 theme, so next time please create an issue on the plugin repository:

and I think we'll improve the plugin documentation soon.

To be honest, I also can not translate "Read More" and "Search" on the main page! When the problem will be solved?

I think there's no problem with the plugin translations, did you prepare your News Show Pro translation properly? (it's separated *.pot file)

All the rest I've translated without any problems!

I've checked and don't see any gk nsp translated files in your wp-content/languages/plugins directory. Please use gk-nsp.pot file (from wp-content/plugins/gk-nsp/languages directory) to create po and mo files (gk-nsp-ru_RU.mo) and move these files into wp-content/languages/plugins directory.
