I updated my site to 3.6.5, I am now getting just white pages.
Tried setting error reporting to maximum thru the configuration file. Can't even get into the backend. Not sure what to do at this point.
Anyone else reported this problem?

I'm afraid not. I myself has been updating dozens of websites I'm taking care of recently and had no such problem.
Try asking hosting provider to rise error showing level in php.ini if You do not have an access to it. An error message will give best tip about what needs to be fixed.
