Kunena 5 does not work well with News2

Hi,

I installed Kunena 4 and it work well with News2 but after I updated to Kunena 5, it does not work well. Please see below screenshot of Kunena display after being updated.

The Kunena menu does not displayed well and there are two logins.

Can you help me to solve that problem?

How this supposed to look like? When I switch template to Protostar so see it not affected by temlate's style I can't see anything at all, so have no comparison. Also on top of that, this page has multiple errors in validation. Please send me an access to FTP, I need to see where does it came from.

I've checked it and to be honest I think it's set to look like that. When I switch to protostar joomla default template it doesn't look better at all.

I've used a different template of Kunena and it's a little better now, but still menu doesn't have style at all. What I think is that Kunena style is supported by bootstrap, which is not included in our template. Check if it came with Kunean or install it saparately. It's just a guess, but the lack of so many styling points to that conclusion.

Can you suggest me one Kunena 5 template that can work suitably with Gavick News 2 ?

I'm sorry, but I do not know any. We have never released a template with a support for Kunena, so it always have to go as it came. Please use what You like. I'll try to help You if some big styling issues will appear.

Ok. Just let me know if You will see any problems with it. I'll try to help.

For Kunena 5, try going to Kunena Admin => Templates

Make sure Crypsis is default template, then select Crypsis to edit settings

Go to "Basic Settings" and make sure "Load Bootstrap css" = Yes (default setting is No)

See if that solves your layout problems?

Thanks for this tip @sunshine. Yes, that's most probably one of the reasons. You may also try enable bootstrap in template's configuration.

Which means that it was just a missing bootstrap. Our template do not come with this library, but is not in conflict with it either, which means that if any component needs it, it can simply load it on its own.

I updated Kunena from Kunena 4 to Kunena 5. Afer that I cannot read topics on the forum.

Please switch to a default joomla template Protostar and see if same is happening than. I do not think it's related with our products and this test will reveal it.
