Hello i just bought the template a month ago and i having an issue with it.
i been developing the website using xampp 5.6.20 / PHP 5.6.20 , there the website works perfect.
but when i move in to the hosting plan that i bought with hostgator
this is what happens:
1-i create a new item using K2
2- i publish on the category that i needed
3-put the author of the item
4-put the image i want
5- save an close the document
now on my menu i been link the categories that i have on K2, if i go to the one i publish i am able to see it right away
but in the Highlights (which is the main page on the front page) the item on the web host could take 3 or 4 hours in publish there but if i do the same in my localhost i see my item 2 seconds after i create it.
i been spoke with hostgator and they confirm that the database is correct and no errors are there.
i check as far as i know the code of the template , review each Highlights mode and compare the settings on my local vs my hostgator, the settings are the same on both
any ideas?
thanks in advance.

Hi

This can be caused by 2 things:
1. Your database time is different than Your server time. They should be set equal so whatever functions use database timestamp or server time there is no gap between it.
2. You have some cache enabled which is delaying the show of any changes done.

Please check both first.
