Hi

Is there anyway to add a FB group (not a personal or fan page) likebox using the social GK5 module?
These URLs are usually https://facebook.com/groups/(name of group).
error usually shows up on frontend "invalid URL"
any help would be appreciated.

I’m afraid that modifications such as this require extensive changes to the theme’s code; I do apologize but such large changes are custom work that are beyond the scope of our technical support.

I thank you for your reply.
Please understand that not all customers of your templates are developers like myself. A lot time and efforts goes into understanding how your modules and plugins work so we can be productive. I would like to think that this is a win win situation for both of us. Facebook groups are becoming more popular. So I think a more apt response would be something like " Currently the GK5 Social module does not support this feature and we will look into upgrading its functionality in the future to include Facebook groups. I’m afraid that modifications such as this require extensive changes to the theme’s code; I do apologize but such large changes are custom work that are beyond the scope of our technical support."
Maybe now as a customer I feel reassured and continue to support Gavick.

Hi

Problem is that I do not know programmers schedule or plans for future release, so all I can think is a current situation, where adding that would require custom work. I'm trying to be straight with clients as much as possible. I believe such approach is appreciated as well.

I would appreciate such feature as well!
I have exactly the same requirement - so one more dot from my side to that demand :)

Hi

I'm sorry, but I do not think it will be implemented. Recent changes to social site's API is hard to keep up already and we have limited time we have spend on this extension.
