After weeks looking for a new template, we selected News2. From a relativly simple Joomla 3 page, we also added K2 and News Show Pro GK5. As a newspaper, we need large pictures on the front page and selected links to show up in the bottom of News Show Pro GK5.

In spite of uploading large pictures, the result on page 1 was so poor that we had to decrease the size of the picture and put the links on the right side.

Try to make the tumbnail dimensions to be the wanted 600x400 resulted in visible pixels.

After selecting "Read More", the picture shows up beautiful.

From this standing, we think it is several ways to go:

1. The template itself
2. K2-setting
3. Category setting(s)
4. News Show Pro GK5 setting

We have been looking around and followed other advices here, but have not solved the problem. The site is "alive" and we need a fast solution. Anybody?

After a closer look, I find the same problem on the demo-template. I hope this can be improved in the next version of the template?

Please make sure that in the K2 Additional Settings do you have set a source image size to XL instead of Generic.

Thank you. It took a few minutes (cashing?) but now it works very nice!
