Good afternoon,

I've been racking my brain trying to work this one out!

On my articles (K2), the twitter like button appears, but below it, the facebook button doesn't (see screenshot), I can't quite fathom this out, no matter how hard I try!

Also, captcha isn't showing in comments form at the bottom, which is resulting in some serious spamming. I've stopped the spam by leaving the captcha protection in place, but because it's not there, no-one can comment! (see screenshot 2). The captcha keys are in both K2 settings and the plugin settings, and it is activated in the global config.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Kevin,
don't be afraid, you are not alone :)

about Facebook, hmm, strange.
about Capchta please:
1) Check if you're using the latest version of K2
2) Check if you're using the latest version of GK template New2
3) You can also rename \templates\gk_news2\html\com_k2\templates\default\item_comments_form.php

I hope that you added all info in Captcha plugin settings, hmmm?

Updating template can also fix like FB

Hi Oscar,

I re-downloaded and re-installed the template yesterday with no success in fixing the problem.

I've checked the K2 version and it is up to date.

I'm not sure what you mean in 3) ??

Thanks

about (3) because all gavick templates override default k2 views.
and this file is responsible for captcha !! in K2 !!
so please do it and joomla will use original file from k2.

it you still don't see captcha it's means that is something wrong with settings which you set, not with template as you thought.

Check also in K2 > Options < button, there are also settings.
