Hi,
QuickStart include = Joomla + template + modules + addcional components ,
it means that it must be installed.

In most cases :
1) Unpack Quickstart .zip on your computer
2) Using FTP tool copy all content inside into /public_html/ folder
of course if you have set domain for it,
more details ask your Hosting Support or check their documentation page

I almost forget, About installing QuickStart read those guides:

0) https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... rt-package
1) https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... r-joomla-3
2) https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... o-fix-them
3) https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... quickstart

BTW
If this is your first Joomla site, GK News2 may be too complicated template for you, I suggest to start with more easy one.
