Thanks for your answer Oscar

I mean, when yoy create or edit an article in frontend, there are 2 calendar buttons to select the start and finishing publication date. These buttons do not work, the calendar is not shown when I click on them. I attach a captured image of them.

When you add K2 item edit form in menu, indeed it don't work - but it might be K2 issue.
but calendar icon should work when you will use "K2 User " module and link from it.

But I am not using K2, I am using Joomla articles. And when I use another template for example protostar as default, these buttons work ok, so th problem is in News2 template :-(.

You're right it doesn't work.
Fortunately, you can still manually enter the date.
I guess there is JS conflict but personally I cannot help.

I have to ask developer for helping hand.

But you're right it should work on both settings Jquery and mootools.
I've send issue to our bug system, one day they will fix it.
