Oscar E wrote:Hi,
because color/style you have to choose from back-end (template settings) not from front-end.
Small but important difference.
Oscar E wrote:he can, but when you will give him access to back-end
front-end color changer is only for demo purposes, example: " I like blue style ", and then you have to set this style in template panel.
Oscar E wrote:Front-end demo chooser - is for fun. Why because cookie can be cleaner and ...chosen color will disappear.
Back-end chooser - is for real, because it's saved on database (!) .
Now should be clear for all. I hope.
Oscar E wrote:this is not main feature of template, so please.... relax
you didn't bought template to play with color dots I hope.
Oscar E wrote:I think I don't understand something.
You show template your client or your self - he decide, I liked blue/red.... style.
Now you have to set it in back-end. that's all.
Right now your template uses
<link rel="stylesheet" href=" templates/gk_news2/css/style1.css" type="text/css" />
Maybe check website on different browser?
p.s.
Last question - all others settings are saved ? or only this one do not work?
All templates from different companies have presets - and all works this same.
Oscar E wrote:Maybe it will sounds funny, but ...for what?
the only thing is changed is color of font, most people will never see it.

In most cases such a magazine & news websites have one main color.
And only sometimes if section is Sport, Life, Weather etc. it has it's own color, but it should be changed much more not only font.
But this can be done, using default Joomla Feature "Template Styles" and Duplicate button.
so you can set different color style for each section using Menu items.
But anyway you have to customize template much more.
Oscar E wrote:Most websites have graphic logo. Why? Because of corporate identity.
Text logo is good only for personal website.
I suggest to focus on more important part of website and after all we can back to this topic.
Oscar E wrote:Sorry, but I still don't understand you last sentence.
You want to use different template or modify that one.

Sorry for my English. I do not want another template and want to modify the template News2 that it became possible to individually choose the color of the visitors, as is done in the template News. Thank you.
Oscar E wrote:By front-end or back-end?
If we talk about front-end options, yes you're right is works only on current page. And on subpages is gone.
Relax. I've send info to our developer, but when he will fix it ... I'm not sure, why? Because this is not urgent issue.
I hope that you can wait some time, use this time wisely.
Oscar E wrote:Info from 5min ago,

Check: https://github.com/GavickPro/Highlighte ... 5d16faba46
do this same change or disable this module for test purposes.
