Submenu item under home page item

I have a directory named "film" and I linked it by a sub-menu item of the home page menu item. The name of my home page menu item is "casino online".
The system links the submenu item "film" with the following url path: www.casino-online.bz/casino-online/film but I would get
www.casino-online.bz/film

How can I get the www.casino-online.bz/film path?

My website is www.casino-online.bz with username gavick and password gavick. Template override is enabled.

I'm afraid this is Joomla core behave and can't be modified easily.

Which exact method have you used?

(a) Create a new menu (NOT menu item)
(b) In the new menu created create a menu item for book1
(c) Edit the menu item book1 in the existing menu (e.g., Main Menu) and change the menu item to be Menu Alias and point that to the menu item created in step (b)
