I am configuring News 2 template, In the middle block of home page I can see all the feature articles!

How can I disable or set some property that feature articles should not display on home page.

I have assigned feature articles to some other module.

I have not assigned any module to display such articles in the middle block!

Hi

I suspect that the element showing featured articles is not a module but component. Please go to menu item settings for this page and set the number of articles to display to 0.

Or if it's a category You will have to reduce it in category settings. It's hard to guess without seeing it.

Many thanks for the quick response!

# Leading Articles = 0, # Intro Articles = 0, # Columns = 0, # Links = 0

Feature articles disappeared!

I have another question regarding template layout.

I would like to have right sidebar width of front page different than rest of the pages.

I tried to change it under Template Manager -> Layout ->

Custom right sidebar width

ItemID/Option:

For now I have given menu ID (101) and below the width (40):
After hitting Add rule it became: 101=40

Unfortunately it doesn't seems to work!

How does this works?

Hi

Try copying template style, attach it to frontpage and set the sidebar width there to a different value for all template.
