Error in Module Highlighter GK5

Good afternoon, I have located a bug in the module Highlighter GK5 and I have noticed that if you put the filter image 1, and there's no article published since that date forward, shows the error shown in the other picture 2, the possible solution would be that the module instead of responding with an error 1064 and therefore completely blocking the site would have to respond. What attachment picture 3, I'm trying to find it and fix it myself but I have not much knowledge of the subject.

Hi

I'm afraid that using this option is up to users. An error 1064 is displayed when joomla tries to show a none existing (unpublished or deleted) article, as well as NULL article. Anyway why would You display an empty module while there will be no articles to show with. Please use an option to show a number of latest articles, that's more usefull I believe and will not triggere an error.
