Change article width or right sidebar width ?

Hi i have a few problems i could do with some help with.

How do change the article widths/ main content?

Also the rightsidebar width on home page is a good size but on a article or menu page its a lot bigger (spreads out)
and the banner images resize bigger. How do i get the right side bar width to be the same size on every page with out it expanding? Is this done by making the article widths/main content bigger.

Hi, the problem i am having is on the home page the right sidebar width is set to 26.3% and a adsense banner i want to use is 336x280px and for the home page the right sidebar width is to small to show the whole banner.

However on any other page the banner size 336x280px shows up perfect, so what i would like is the right sidebar to be 336px width throughout the site.

Also on the layout menu there is nothing there to edit gkBannerLeft. I believe if there was an option to reduce the width of banner left position then I would get the rightsidebar width exactly the same size on every page.
