Full width position

Hello,
I'm having trouble inserting a full position in the theme.
Needed a position to put a slideshow below the menu. I created a position slideshow below highlights position, but did not work.
I tried to customize the Top1 position, but without success.
I used as a help, this tutorial Gavick:

Ok Full page slider is complete. That took a while but I got it done. Lots of changes. I added a new position to the template called slideshow and enabled Image Show GK4. All my css changes were made to the bottom of override.css
