I have tried to post the Image Show GK4 in the highlights section.

it does not appear until I turn on the search module.

Why is this, but I can see it when I display module positions ?tp=1.

This is a definite error in your template ?

Any help would be appreciated THANKS !!

Hi,
I do small test on my DEMO page (Gavern 3.11.3 version of template)

1) disabled Search - Hightlights module on - can be seen
2) disabled Update date --> Hightlights and search module - can be seen
3) disabled Update date and search module --> Hightlight disappear - you are right.
It looks they are connected.

This solution will help you:
Code: Select all
#gkSearch { display: none; width: 0%;}
#gkHighlights { width: 100%;}

(!) but you have to enable search module.

Thanks for the feedback and the possible solution I will try that out.
Is it possible that this will be fixed at all on the template,as it loses some of its flexibility?

Thanks again

In theory it should be possible. But it request much more job than just one line of css code. And this is called "customization" not support.

Pawel thank you for your response. I would like to disagree with you :( . Had the template been set up properly in the first place it would not require such modifications, but would have been designed with this type of flexibility in mind. This shows a short sighted approach to testing, (although much of the work is very good). Customisation should be for something not included not for something that was not done properly.
Having said that thank you for your hepl so far, I hope you can find saome way to solve this for me
