How to change the language for the "back to top"?

I would like to change the language for the "Back to top" function which you can enable in back-end template settings. How do I do this?

PS. I would also like to be able to change the "search" text which is grayed out in the search box field. Is this the same procedure as answer to above?

if i copy this: TPL_GK_LANG_BACKTOTOP="Back to top"
to the override tool i get every time this sentense changed to: TPL_GK_LANG_BACKTOTOPBACKTOTOP

why?
