Module class suffix not being overridden

Hi again

I placed this code in the override.css

.cat_menu #.gkCols3 .box.gkmod-2
{
width: 25%;
}

However when I put cat_menu in the module suffix it doesn't change. The setting in layout.css supersedes it.

I found a workaround where I used
!important

Not elegant but it works. If anyone have a smoother way please let me know
