Hi,
New updated version of News2 template include theme for EasyBlog - so probably you don't have do anything just install component add content and add tags to EasyBlog posts.
Check EasyBlog menu possible views and associated settings.

I used the 3113 version of the J25 news2 templates. Did not find the easy blog menu, the existing contact us.

First, Did you installed EasyBlog component (stackideas.com) ?
Second, If yes - in Menu Manager you should find additional menu links.

Yes. It's normal all companies do this same.
We can not give you EasyBlog, EasySocial, JomSocial etc. just for free. Those are not our products.
We did only themes for them.
