"updated" not work

Hallo,
How do I set up and turned on the "updated" in the frontpage interface? I plug in the web that is not running. Only show one time only "updated 10:17 PM WIT, Nov 28, 2014", does not change over time.

I use news 2 joomla 2.5.

Update time is automatically generated based on last added article. Do you use latest template version? I still don't get answer for this question…

Sorry, I misunderstood. I think joomla 3, Ok I try first to upgrade to the 3113 version. Previously I was using 311.

Yes please upgrade template and remember to replace all modified files visible in the changelog, we've fixed part of code in this area so you shouldn't have any problems after upgrade.

The time format you can specify in template language file. Please file from root/languages/en-GB directory (en-GB.tpl_gk_news2.ini) and find this line :

Code: Select all: TPL_GK_LANG_UPDATE_DATE_FORMAT="g:i A T, M j, Y"

This is simple PHP data format and to change this you can use data formats available here » PHP: Date Formats - Manual
