Why on the home page template News 2 articles do not appear as written on the menu.
In the Home position is set to review the articles highlighted, while on the home page only appear K2 modules, that display the items selected in the module.
Changing the settings on the Home position in the main menu has no effect on the home page.
Template forced design of the home page, how can I change it.

Probably one of your modules is published on 'mainbody' module position and this hide main content to display module. Please change this module position and you should see default content according to your 'Home' menu type.

Welcome.
But I did not changed my settings, this is your template, installed from the package 'quick start'. So I do not know what I should change. As I wrote changes to the settings menu 'home' does not bring changes to the site.

Could your provide me URL to your site? I will check using friebug whether some content is published on mainbody position or not.

If you want to display regular content on homepage, according to your menu item settings, you have to unpublish all modules on 'mainbody' position.
